Ah, UK, the land of Queen Elizabeth, and stuffy gentlemen in bowler hats, and those venerable institutions: Oxford and Cambridge! The UK is and still remains among the best places to go for higher studies. The capital London, along with Toronto, is one of the most cosmopolitan cities on earth. Like its cousin across the pond, the UK is a melting pot of varied races and culture. It is this diversity that makes English life so exciting. Apart from the ubiquitous pubbing and clubbing, and late night revelries at Oxford Circus, the country still draws lots of immigrants, attracted by the liberal immigration policies and a high standard of living.


The UK educational system, despite some recent criticism, is among the most competitive on earth.
